Rossana Grau

I am the owner and broker of Sunset Realty. I have been involved in the many aspects of the real estate business for over 30 years in Santa Cruz.

My roots go back to Rome, Italy where I was born, and I have been lucky to live in beautiful Santa Cruz County for 39 years where my husband, Raul and I have raised our three children.

I am also a proud graduate of San Jose State University. Twenty years ago my interest expanded to land development and contracting, so we expanded the business. 

Although challenging to build in Santa Cruz County, it has given me the opportunity to create single family homes, neighborhoods, and commercial properties of which I am very proud to be affiliated with.

I have also found great satisfaction in helping individual home owners build their own homes or remodel by acting as their general contractor. I hope to continue to offer realty sales and contracting services to our great communities for many years to come. 

Daniel Grau

I was born and raised here in Santa Cruz. My family has been involved in Real Estate and Construction my whole life. As a kid, I remember watching foundations being poured and framing being completed at various Sunset Realty and Grau Development, Inc. construction sites. With notable neighborhood housing projects being completed in the Soquel and Live Oak areas.

After graduating from Soquel High School where I enjoyed varsity soccer and playing music in my band, I attended San Diego State University. I received a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Sociology in 2004. Upon return to Santa Cruz, I married my High School Sweetheart, Elizabeth, and we raised three amazing and beautiful daughters in this town. 

I got my California Real Estate Sales License in 2006, and started working alongside Rossana at Sunset Realty. I couldn’t have asked for a better business mentor, and Mom, over the years. I have a great sense of family pride for the legacy she and her sister, Silvana, created with their years of building, construction, and Real Estate sales in and around Santa Cruz County.

In 2025, I obtained my California Real Estate Brokers License and I look forward to continuing the family business with Integrity, Trust, and Personal Service, for many years to come.
